About The Fun Bug
Hi everyone!
We are the Saurs. I am Kameron and my husband is Clay, or as my sweet in-laws like to call it, the ‘vision’ and the ‘labor’. We have two amazing kiddos, Olivia and Levi. We are big on nicknames around here! Our daughter Olivia is our Bug! And our son Levi is our Worm! Thus, The Fun Bug was born.
As a mama of two small wigglers, I noticed a lack in the amount of indoor play opportunities here in New Braunfels, and decided to take matters into my own hands. We want The Fun Bug to be a fun, clean, safe, and aesthetic place for both kiddos and parents to enjoy. Whether that is playing on our large custom-built wooden play structure, climbing on our soft play mats, or exploring creativity through our endless play opportunities, we know there is something for everyone.
During open hours, we will have delicious drinks, comfortable lounging, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of workspace. Oh, and did I mention we are a party rental space after hours?! Host your event with full access to our entire facility, reserved just for your party — closed to the public for the ultimate private experience.
We are so very excited for all that is to come and cannot wait to meet each and every one of you!

Treat your guests to freshly baked delights from our owner’s passion project, Saur Flour. These custom royal-iced sugar cookies — crafted with love and the finest ingredients — are available as an add-on when you book your party with us. Let us know if you’d like to include them in your celebration!
The Fun Bug’sRules of Play
To better support a safe and positive environment, open play will now be limited to children ages 6 and under. We’ve found that this adjustment allows our younger kiddos to play more freely and safely, which is at the heart of what The Fun Bug was created for.
For private parties only, children up to age 10 are still welcome to enjoy the play structure, as long as they are being respectful and mindful of younger children. We understand that many parties include older siblings and guests, and we’re happy to accommodate them in this setting.
No shoes are permitted on the grassy turf. Children and adults are required to wear socks. If you forget your child’s socks, you may purchase a pair at our counter for $3.
A Fun Bug staff member will announce when there are 10 minutes left in your play session. Please use this time to gather your belongings and prepare to exit so we can welcome the next group on time.
Parents and guardians — not The Fun Bug staff — are responsible for their children and must remain on site at ALL times.
Each paying child may be accompanied by up to two adults at no additional cost. Any extra adults are welcome for $8 each.
